Tree Planting Plans

Urban Forestry's Tree Planting Program is proposing parks and street tree plantings throughout Willowdale this fall in an effort to increase the urban forest canopy cover, increase biodiversity, and reduce storm-water flows.

Proactive street tree planting plans will also be implemented in various locations throughout Willowdale. These plans offer new trees to residents as part of our efforts to increase the City's tree canopy. Notices are delivered to all residences in advance of planting, advising property owners to contact 311 with any questions or concerns.

Additionally, replacement plantings as per By-Law 813 will be performed at addresses which have had a City tree removed. Notices are delivered to all residences in advance of planting, advising property owners to contact 311 with any questions or concerns.
