Several residents have reached out about the noise impact from concerts being held at Rogers Stadium. I met with the City Manager’s office to raise these concerns, and they are currently working with Live Nation to address the challenges arising from the stadium’s operations. I have specifically asked for sound sensors to be installed in a broader radius from the venue, including Willowdale, to monitor and better document the noise impact on our community.
We are also tracking all complaints submitted by Willowdale residents and incorporating them into our ongoing discussions with relevant City departments and event organizers. Your voice is essential in driving improvements.
If you experience noise disruptions during events, we strongly encourage you to:
Call 311 during the event and request a noise enforcement officer to attend your location and take real-time sound measurements. Rogers is paying for noise enforcement teams to be available during all concerts.
Submit your complaint directly to:
Shabnum Durrani, Vice President, Public Affairs, Live Nation: shabnumdurrani@livenation.com
City of Toronto Noise Complaints: NoiseTO@Toronto.ca
Our office is committed to ensuring that the voices of Willowdale residents are heard. We will continue to advocate for long-term, balanced solutions that support successful event operations while safeguarding the quality of life in our community.
