Pothole Repairs in North York

With the recent warm weather, snow operations teams are actively repairing potholes across Willowdale. A recent "pothole blitz” was conducted on Feb 28th throughout the city, and additional repair days will continue throughout the spring. So far this year, in our ward, 311 has received 283 service requests regarding pothole repairs, 260 have been completed, and currently 23 requests are in progress

Currently, the estimated time for repair upon submission of a service request is 2-4 weeks. Repairs may be conducted faster with major arterial roads being patrolled twice every seven days to identify and address road issues. Transportation Infrastructure Patrollers are responding quickly to service requests and are also creating proactive work orders as they spot potholes during their regular patrols.

To help crews respond as efficiently as possible, we kindly ask residents to submit 311 service requests for clearly defined locations (for example: an exact address, intersection, or block). You can use this link to quickly access this type of request: Service Request – City of Toronto. This ensures repairs can be tracked, scheduled and completed promptly. The data also provides clarity for the operations team to prioritize their efforts on “hot areas” where they can see many 311 tickets.
