Growing Something Beautiful at the Edithvale Pollinator Garden

It was wonderful to attend the volunteer gathering and sign unveiling at the Edithvale Pollinator Garden.

I enjoyed a walk-through tour and was so impressed by the diversity of plants and the incredible care that has gone into bringing this beautiful garden to life. It is amazing to see how this once ordinary space has become a thriving habitat for pollinators. I even got to see photos of the fascinating bees and butterflies that now call the garden home.

Visitors can now scan the new QR code to learn more about the garden, the pollinators it supports, and how to get involved. If there are any tech wizards interested in helping to build out their web presence, please let us know.

A heartfelt thank-you to the dedicated volunteers who invest countless hours in caring for this lush corner of Willowdale. Your hard work is creating something truly special for our community and our environment.

The Edithvale Pollinator Garden is located on the north side of Edithvale Community Centre. I encourage everyone to stop by for a visit and, if you're interested, consider joining this wonderful group of volunteers! Special thanks to Anne McConnell, who leads this community group with incredible care and passion.
