About the event
This workshop invites children to experience the rich tapestry of Persian culture through storytelling from the Shahnameh, an epic masterpiece of Persian literature. Through engaging narratives simplified for young ages, participants will embark on a journey through heroic tales and timeless legends. Following the storytelling session, children will have the opportunity to unleash their creativity by illustrating the stories they've heard, allowing them to express their understanding and interpretation of the Shahnameh's captivating narratives through art. Join us as we celebrate Nowruz by exploring the enchanting world of the Shahnameh and nurturing the imaginative spirits of our young participants.
ARTIST:
►Mitra Kiaee, a writer, researcher and storyteller of the first level of classical Iranian litreture.
►Somayeh Bahiraei is a school teacher and reciter of Shahnameh poems in the form of screen reading.
