INTRODUCING WILLOWDALE PARTICIPATORY BUDGETING (PB) We are thrilled to bring PB to the residents of Willowdale, giving you the chance to decide how City funds are allocated for capital improvements in your neighbourhood. Whether it's Park Benches, Park Lighting, Pollinator Gardens, Adult Fitness Equipment, Ping-Pong Tables and more, your ideas can become a reality!  

Each idea will be reviewed by the City staff for feasibility and cost analysis. Then, the residents of the neighbourhood will vote on how the funding is allocated!   

Each year, two neighbourhoods will be selected based on available Community Benefits Funds, the capacity of city staff and my team, and active capital projects already underway. This year we have selected Newtonbrook West and Willowdale West!  We are grateful for the support of Councillors Carroll and Moise who have successfully implemented PB in their respective wards.
