Choose one native tree or shrub per household and help grow a greener community. Quantities are limited, so register early to secure yours. Join us on Saturday, September 20, at Moore Park from 1–3 PM. Registration closes September 6!

About the event
Help grow a greener community at our Free Native Tree & Shrub Giveaway! Pick up your one-per-family tree or shrub at the west entrance of Moore Park on Saturday, September 20, from 1:00–3:00 PM (no rain date). Only 50 trees and shrubs are available in total, so order early. Registration closes September 6.
Trees available:
-White Oak: White oaks provide habitat and a food source of acorns to a variety of animals.
-Sugar Maple: Maples are among the first trees to bloom in spring, making them an important pollen source for pollinators coming out of dormancy
-White Spruce: Bark, branches, buds, and seeds are a food source for deer, rabbits, birds, and small rodents.
-Paper Birch: Flowers attract pollinators in the spring. Attracts a variety of birds thanks to seeds and sap.
