The Farsi Song and Story Circle Time includes, interactive activities using, songs, music, stories, related to Norooz Tradition. The songs and games include customs of Chaharshanbe Soori, Eid and Sizdah Bedar.  The program includes games and different sensory props, to engage and familiarize children age group 1-6 years to Farsi language. The aim of this activity is to cultivate the love of learning Farsi, in kids born and raised outside of Iran. Parents are encouraged to participate in the activities to create beautiful memories for children.  

 دور همی شعر و داستان فارسی شامل روشهای تعاملی با استفاده از ترانه ها، موسیقی ، داستان سرایی، فعالیت های بدنی و سرگرمی برای کودکان زیر ۶ سال است که در آن تشویق می شوند که از حواس پنجگانه خود استفاده کنند و هم چنین با زبان فارسی آشنا شوند. این برنامه زیر نظر آزاده زرشکیان برگزار می شود. موضوع این جلسه بهار و آداب و رسوم و سنتهای ایرانی در ایام نوروز است. از والدین دعوت می‌شود تا در این فعالیت‌ها شرکت کنند و لحظات زیبایی را در کنار فرزندانشان بسازند. این برنامه مناسب کودکان رده سنی ۱ تا ۶ سال به همراه والدینشان می باشد.

ARTIST:

Azadeh Zereshkian: Since moving to Canada over 20 years ago, Azadeh Zereshkian has been passionate about the Iranian community and preservation of the Farsi language and Iranian culture among Iranian kids in Canada. This included sitting on several organizations board of directors, assisting TDSB Farsi language instructor in teaching Farsi and establishing a community support group for Iranian mothers and small children where frequently, Farsi Circle time sessions were held to ignite the joy of learning the language through songs and game-based activities.

Ehsan Foroughi will be assisting Azadeh for these workshops.
